Our Bon Voyage Party Sept.17/16

hat a fabulous evening!  We arrived for a surprise party to find 50 of our closest friends and family that came to say good-bye and send us off on our grand adventure.

A big thanks to Sandra and Andi who crafted for days to make our party so special.  The signs, posters, balloons, canoli cupcakes, photographer, centerpieces, props and Italian party favors were awesome.  For cry’in out loud they even crafted Italian Bomboniere, candies wrapped in little boxes with maps of Italy and red,white and green ribbon.  You girls made us feel pretty special and Martha Stewart would have put you in her book! Everyone had a fantastic time and will surely remember the occasion as we will.

Funny, when you’re going away for such a long time you’re reminded that everything you ever wanted or needed is right at home.  We’ll miss everyone so much but this is an opportunity we have to take, to realize our dream and spend this special time in our lives together.  This was the realization for us and got us excited with only one more week to go.
